Dr. Scott Downey is Assistant Professor in the Departments of Agricultural Economics and Consumer Sciences and Retailing at Purdue University. He is also Associate Director of the Center for Food and Agricultural Business. Dr. Downey is part of the research team at the Center which conducts a study of the buying behavior of large commercial producers every five years. Scott teaches sales and marketing courses to 500 students each semester at Purdue and is a frequent speaker and consultant to agribusiness firms in the US and abroad.
